The Immune System Response to Helminths - Global Health Institute, EPFL (2010)
Part of several 3D visualisations of different scientific research areas of the Global Health Institute (GHI), led by Prof. Stewart Cole at the EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. The research ranges from topics such as finding novel medicines and cures and understanding mechanisms of Tuberculosis, Malaria, Helminth, HIV, Anthrax and Cholera. This segment is specific to Prof. Nicola Harris, head of the Laboratory of Intestinal Immunology, Global Health Institute (GHI), EPFL.
Technology: The ScienceVisuals in-house ray tracing and simulation engine BioInspire, researched and developped by Dr. Pablo de Heras Ciechomski, was used to create models, animations, renderings and special effects. Music was specially composed for the movie.
